Piper Ferguson is an experienced trial attorney practicing in Northeastern North Carolina. A native of coastal North Carolina, Piper attended Appalachian State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice before earning her Juris Doctor from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. After passing the bar, she returned to the Outer Banks and settled into her legal career. She was an Assistant District Attorney from 2014-2022, conducting numerous trials before both judges and juries in the First Judicial District.
Now, Piper is the newest face at Grimsley & Ferguson in Nags Head, North Carolina. She brings not only trial experience, but adaptability, tenacity, and a penchant for streamlined and accessible services to the citizens and visitors of North Carolina’s beautiful coast. She is happy to assist clients with criminal defense, traffic tickets, expunctions, and DMV hearings.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their dog, Daisy, who may greet you when you visit her office. As a family they enjoy traveling, soaking up the great outdoors, and that quiet, peaceful time parents get when toddlers actually nap.
