Allan Grimsley is an attorney with more than twenty years of trial experience. He has litigated hundreds of Bench and Jury trials in District and Superior Court. He has extensive experience in investigations, research, procedural and trial aspects of criminal litigation. He is a former Assistant District Attorney for the First Judicial District of North Carolina, encompassing Dare, Currituck, Camden, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Chowan, and Gates counties. Allan has an Economics background and experience in Corporate and Civil litigation.
Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law. Allan studied Law in England and Italy and he has traveled and lived extensively in the United States and around the world, including Greece, Turkey and throughout Latin America, North Africa, Europe and the former Soviet Union. He has run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, cliff dived high from the cliffs of Corfu, Greece and competed in the World Series of Poker. He has been to 100 Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band shows. Allan played on a National Championship softball team at Wake Forest in 1999. He plunged from a cable car high in the Swiss Alps when he completed the Worlds Highest Bungee Jump in Interlaken, Switzerland in 1997.
